Step 3 - Joining your family

California K9 Security and Companion Dogs leverages their unique process to customize a search, purchase, and personalized training program for family security and executive protection dogs that exactly fits your needs using primarily elite imported dogs trained by the world renowned training professionals

  • Our Director of Training will contact you prior to arrival and go over what the training and integration of their new dog into their home will consist of.

  • We will draft a 7 day on site training program including a schedule and timeline, a customized training manual and any other special arrangements such as remote collar training.

  • We will pick up your dog and facilitate getting your animal thru customs and safely out of the airport. 

  • Your dog will spend one week in the home of our training director. 

    • Daily training & socializing​/neutralizing to U.S.A. (cafe or various locations).

    • Spending time with the family/children/pets (cats and dogs) in and out of the home.

    • Proofing exercises taught in Germany and making video clips for our clients.

    • Preparing the dog for its seamless handover to the new family.

  • Our Director of Training and your new dog then travel to the client’s home to begin its one-week family training program. (this schedule will be discussed and confirmed prior to arrival)

  • At this time, your welcome binder and contents will be reviewed and instruction on training aids if required, (e-collar/papers/video’s)

  • Your third week consists of Phone/Virtual support available 7 days a week for any training questions after onsite training program is completed.

  • Discussion of additional training programs and services  available thru California Elite Family Protection Dogs will be covered.
